Buy a voucher for two to come with one of our experienced bee keepers to learn how we look after our honey making homies. Know someone who loves bees or is thinking of having their own hive one day and wants to learn the basics? We will give them all the info they need. Bee keeping experiences take place April - September.
 
The recipient will learn how to check our hive health chart and interpret what actions need to be taken, given the latest hive check data collected before your arrival. We will teach them how to put on a bee suit and protective gloves properly so they're all ready to visit the bees.
 
We will demonstrate how to open a hive, assess the health of the bees and their progress building the colony and how to log this information for future reference - then it's their turn! The lucky recipient of this voucher will get the chance to open up a hive, undertake an inspection and log the information themselves - all with us on hand to help and answer any questions they may have.
 
Under 18? If you or someone you are booking for is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult who also attending. Minimum age: 10.
 
Once you've bought this voucher, we will email you a pdf gift certificate to give to the recipient. We will also email you a link to pass on to them which they can use to read all about the expereince, choose a date and time that suits them, and book in.
